How to Begin to Witness at a Killing Place

First, establish when abortions are committed:
You’ll need to call the killing place posing as someone who is interested in having an abortion. Get the earliest & latest possible abortion appointment times on the day that you would like to minister.

Here is a script you can use when calling the abortuary:
http://www.forerunner.com/impact/behind-the-scenes-part-3-call-the-abortion-center-for-information Arrive 45 minutes early & if possible, plan to stay at least 30 minutes after the last abortion time. Arriving early will allow you to get situated, pray & then engage every abortion-bound mom & their companions. This will often allow you to engage the abortuary workers as well.

Procrastination, a big problem:
Don't put it off -- get out there and spy out the land. Figure out where to park, where to stand, etc, etc. If possible it’s best to try and stop everyone who is arriving as they pull into the parking lot, and offer them your ministry packet. Of course a lot depends on the set up of the clinic itself. Hopefully you’ll have good access to the mothers. There may be other pro-lifers out there & they can show you the lay of the land.

Crisis Pregnancy Centers
:
Before you go to the killing place, I'd highly recommend that you make an appointment and have a sit down talk with the director of the local cpc’s. (Crisis pregnancy centers can be located by looking under Abortion Alternatives in the yellow pages). Let them give you a tour of the center and look through their ministry materials. Get their hours of operation and establish whether they do ultrasound on abortion-minded women. See if you can get them to give you as many brochures for pregnant and abortion-minded women as you can so that you can have these on hand or even include them in your ministry packet. Be sure to get the ones FOR pregnant women and NOT the ones they give to raise support from the church.

Ask the director about the ministry. Be sure to inquire about whether they are faithful to use scriptures & to share a biblical gospel message. Ask her: "Exactly what do you say to a woman who says she is going to have an abortion?" Just to let you know, CPC counselors rarely, if ever, speak of God or use the words "wrong", "murder", "sin", "judgment", "wrath" or "hell" & "repentance". Almost half of women who abort today will already have murdered at least ONE child or MORE before you meet them at the killing place. Ask the director what they say to a woman who admits to having already had one or more abortions. The call to repentance is often left out of counseling, or at least is compromised by many other humanistic, non-directive/non-judgmental types of counseling, as it often is in the churches. Take time to give the women's center director a CD copy of the biblical evangelism teaching Hell’s Best Kept Secret (see below for how to find it) and explain how vital the Law and the call to repentance is in reaching the lost. It would be good to give her a copy of True and False Conversion message on CD as well. These gospel tools may revolutionize the life and ministry of that women's center, bring many women to the saving knowledge of Christ and SAVE the lives of countless children. Another thing, if the center has brochures, it ideal for them to have a map on them, showing exactly where the cpc is located & for it to have the hours of operation clearly printed.

While I appreciate these cpcs they often have a "build it and they'll come" philosophy (a lot like churches do). Studies have shown that 85% of the business of women's centers is NOT in preventing abortion. (Unless they are located next to or across from a killing place.) The vast majority of women they serve are seeking pregnancy tests (for women who want their babies as well as women who don't), giving out diapers, baby clothes, pregnancy clothes, car seats ... in other words, FREEBIES. Women come for the free stuff. This is not BAD in and of itself. It's just that it is a fact that women's centers don't serve to save the lives of many infants. All of this changes dramatically when the women's center purposely locates itself NEXT to or ACROSS from a killing place and/or the counselors themselves GO to the abortion clinic to call out to the women. (I've seen this first hand and it is amazing pro-active pro-life missionary labor!) There is nothing that takes the place of Jesus' example of going to the lost.

If you go directly to an abortuary during abortion times you WILL be involved in a direct- intervention ministry & will meet ALL of the aborting women (and men) head on.

Good Resource Book:
I highly recommend that you get the book 'Pro-Life Answers to Pro-Choice Arguments' by Randy Alcorn. This comprehensive book is full of thought-provoking answers to the justification of child-killing that are bound to arise. It's awesome!

ADOPTION:
Another good thing to do ahead of time is to look under ADOPTION in the yellow pages or google & find Christian adoption agencies, if possible. Go visit the director there as well. Find out how much they are willing to help pregnant women, get their brochures for birth moms, & share Hell’s Best Kept Secret and True & False Conversion with them too. They will help you get educated about how adoption works. Remember, though, you do not have to become an expert on adoption. God has provided professionals to provide adoption counseling. Direct the women you counsel to the adoption agency. Be sure to ask about the process of open adoption. It’s a wonderful way for the abortion-minded mom to be pro-active in personally selecting the right couple for her baby and also keeping communication open to continue to know how her child is doing.

Tracts:
You can get powerfully compelling brochures for abortion-minded women from Cherish California at http://cherishca.com/brochure.html They are willing to provide them FREE to those who are willing to put them directly into the hands of abortion-bound moms. I also highly recommend that you use the ‘Did you know?’ tract that you can purchase from Hayes Publishing. See it halfway down on this page: http://hayespub.tripod.com/NewCatalog.html#brochure Another very good tract to use is 'Innocent Blood': http://tractleague.com/tracts/innocent-blood-302?PHPSESSID=0e0504fd26fce668da6d4eca3aeaf66b

Lynn Copeland has written a wonderful insert for our ministry packets. It's "What God's Word says about Abortion". Here is the text: http://www.christiananswers.net/q-comfort/abortion-bible.html  I can send you this insert as an attachment in an e mail. Just contact me at pattesmith@gmail.com & I'll send it to you.

Biblical Gospel, how to share the way of salvation:

It is important that you learn to share a biblical gospel, if you don't know how to do this already. Listen to the teachings called Hell’s Best Kept Secret: http://www.livingwaters.com/learn/hellsbestkeptsecret.htm
and True and False Conversion http://www.livingwaters.com/learn/trueandfalse.htm
at least two times each. There is a Christian television program called The Way of the Master (www.wayofthemaster.com) that teaches you step by step how to use God’s law to address the conscience of a lost person. I highly recommend that you watch the program on tv or order every season of the DVD for WOTM. You can go to http://wayofthemaster.com/watchepisodes.shtml to see how to view particular episodes. This amazing method of evangelism will teach to how to engage the lost at the killing place. You will not need to learn how to give the entire “Good Person Test” taught on WOTM but you will need to familiarize yourself with the scriptures about murder and fornication by searching the Bible.

Biblical Gospel tract for abortion-bound women & men:
We have published a new tract. You can view it & read it & it is available for you to purchase here:
http://seedshakers.weebly.com/abortion-prolife-gospel-tract.html
If you would like to purchase smaller quantities, you may order them from us for $20 for 100 (free shipping).

Initial approach to aborting moms & dads:
Here’s how you might begin to reach out to the people you meet at the killing place. We commonly use the Good Samaritan model to start with. Smile and wave the car over and say; “Hi, my name is ___________ and I have a special ministry packet for you.” If they draw near or roll down their window to receive your ministry materials, introduce yourself and ask the woman and her companions; "What is the biggest reason (or #1 reason) why you feel like you just can't have this baby right now?" From there offer her practical, emotional and spiritual help through her pregnancy. Be genuine. Give her scriptures such as Jeremiah 1:5 ("Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you.") & Psalm 127:3 ("Children are a gift from the Lord.") Help her to see that her baby is designed, created & sustained by God, just as she is. It is important that you are willing to LISTEN & to give of your time, talent & treasure to love the individual mothers that you meet, as God gives you the grace. Naturally, you can hand her information about the nearest women's pregnancy help/resource center - especially if she is looking for a free pregnancy test. It's almost always good to bring up adoption as a wonderful option as well. Bring the adoption brochures (from a local Christian adoption agency if possible) with you and consider placing them right in your ministry packet as well. We like to point abortion-bound women to the websites: www.birthmother.com & www.parentprofiles.com because many of them are able to peruse these sites from their phones, even while inside the waiting room of the abortuary. As the Lord (and time) allows progress from the natural to the spiritual. Go straight to the Law, focusing on the Sixth Commandment. (No need to do the Good Person test because it is already established that the woman or man is murdering their baby. Very few people deny that abortion is "wrong", "murder" and most readily admit that it is "sin" and that God does not want them to do it.) Since sexual immorality is such a serious & damnable sin, we often seek the leading of the Lord & explain that fornication is also forbidden by God. Avoid presenting murdering the baby as one of three "options". God does not allow for murder of an innocent person, so we shouldn't either. Let the mother (& her companions) know that God forbids the shedding of innocent blood, so that is not a "choice" she is permitted to choose. We do not give the grace part of the message unless or until a person is humble & stops justifying their sin. Depending on the set-up, you may have some good opportunities to open air preach in front of the killing place as well. We're able to do it here and it is POWERFUL!

POST-abortion:
At least half (maybe more) of the mothers and fathers you will meet at the abortuary have already murdered at least one infant. It's important that you have a good biblical understanding of genuine repentance. Because of Proverbs 28:17 we don't recommend post-abortion ministries or retreats. (http://bible.cc/proverbs/28-17.htm gives you many versions of this scripture, cross references for other verses & excellent commentaries on this scripture.)

Our gospel tract should provide all abortion-bound sinners with the truth as it is in Jesus. whether they are post-abortive or killing for the first time, the gospel is the power of God unto salvation. It is enough.

For Life & Eternity: video tips for abortuary ministry
:
We've created 10 episodes so far. Here is the first episode:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D7m7_VXwrIk

You can watch a video showing us witnessing at an abortion clinic at:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHs1T-Q5Kek

More Resources:
We think it is a good idea to put abortionNO.org on the back of all your materials. (Our tracts come pre-printed with these websites on them. If you are able to, download Choice Blues on to your phone: http://abortionno.org/Resources/audiovideo.html  You can show it to willing women & men.
(NOTE:The clip on abortionNo.org is a portion of Choice Blues.)

Take time to look through the pages of abort73.com  It's got a wealth of great materials.

Purchase the beautiful video of live prenatal development in the womb called The Biology of Prenatal Development at: www.ehd.org (You can also program this page into your I-Phone for witnessing.)

Here is another excellent website for equipping yourself to stand against the shedding of innocent blood: http://abolishhumanabortion.com/  Become an abolitionist!

Visual aids:
When we first started we arrived on the sidewalk outside the killing place as Jesus commanded His disciples when He sent them out to preach the Kingdom. In Luke 22:35 the Master asks; “When I sent you without money bag, knapsack, sandals, did you lack anything?” (See Matthew 10; Mark 6; Luke 9 & 10) We took nothing but ourselves, our love of Christ & His gospel & our perishing neighbors. We saw the Lord use us to save babies from abortion. He used us to love their mothers through their pregnancy & to share the truth as it is in Jesus with her. As the years have gone by we have supplemented our witness with many wonderful visual tools. Fetal models of babies through the gestation period, great signs (graphic abortion signs & beautiful images of babies in the womb, adoptive families, scriptures, etc). We who are reaching out to counsel the women do not carry a sign, as we have our hands full with ministry materials & fetal models. But, a few of the Christians who join us to pray & to witness DO carry signs, including the graphic abortion sign from The Center for Bio-Ethical Reform (Go to www.cbrinfo.org ) We believe that these graphic images of aborted babies are the Law of God (“You shall not murder”) in picture form & as we all know, a picture is worth a thousand words. We believe that the Law of God is perfect, converting the soul, because that is what the Word of God declares. We believe that the Law brings the knowledge of sin, because the Bible tells us so. We believe that the Law of God is a tutor that points us to Christ, because the scriptures plainly teach it. So, we are unapologetic about using them right where we minister, & we keep them close at hand, but, we keep them a short distance from us as we give the aborting mothers our earnest gospel plea. We also use our internet –access cell phones to go to websites that show photos, give adoptive couple profiles & tell real stories, like Baby Rowan: www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfnNzIzvT-k

Set these sites on your phone favorites for easy access:

Priests for Life sells a wonderful medical illustration of abortion which you can show to aborting moms:
http://www.priestsforlife.org/resources/medical/suctionweb.jpg
Laminating it will keep it fresh.

One of our most important suggestions is: DON'T WAIT! Go out to the killing place asap. The enemy does not want you to reach out to women there ... & he will do everything in his power to fill you with fear & discourage you. We have seen flat tires, sickness, family troubles, haunting dreams, and a serious amping up of the world and the flesh come against those who plan to engage the lost at killing places. Your abortion-bound neighbors might appear to be giants, but the Lord is able to give you courage and confidence and His anointing and authority. Just GO! Grab a friend, if you can. It's always better to go out to the lost in twos.

We are so happy to hear that you are going to be providing a ministry of presence at the killing place in your area. As the years have gone by we are more & more convinced that being where children are being led to slaughter is a mission field that should be part of every Christian's life in one way or another. It is true that people don't care what you know until they know that you care. If Christians don't care enough to go where the babies are sacrificed, it tells aborting moms, dads and certainly the abortionist and clinic workers that Christians just like to SAY that they care that infants are murdered by abortion but they obviously don't really care or their love would be a verb. Missionary David Livingstone said: "Sympathy is no substitute for action." The lost are not impressed or reached or impacted by feelings or words or even prayers of ‘intention’. (As a friend of mine likes to say: "You don’t get points for intention".) Our love for those who are perishing must have feet to be carried to engage & intervene on behalf of Christ & the children He has created & the lost mothers who are slaves to sin & under the judgment of God.

You might enlist friends at church by explaining that there is room for every kind of spiritual and natural gifting outside killing places. We need prayer warriors, evangelists, mercy-gifted women to walk through pregnancy with the moms, men who will befriend the fathers, folks who will offer practical help (like fixing cars, home repairs, financial planning/budgeting, help with babysitting, housekeeping tips, etc) people who can design ministry materials, benefactors who will "adopt" a woman through her pregnancy to help with financial needs, people to organize church groups to pray (I called it Adopt-a-Clinic) people to videotape ministry times, and the list goes on and on.

MINISTRY PACKET samples for FREE
:
Please contact me if you are starting out at an abortuary or if you are interested in seeing our ministry packet. We'd like to provide you with some materials to share. pattesmith@gmail.com

When a mom doesn't kill & chooses LIFE:

When a mother changes her mind & does not abort her baby, in addition to asking her to write down all of her contact info so we can follow up (name, address, phone, e mail) we like to give her a little gift bag right away, to take home with her.
Here is what we put into the pretty bag:
*Pre-natal vitamins (inexpensive grocery store brand is only about $5 & I picked up a big stock whenever they are on sale, like buy one get one free!)
* Gospel of John (get 30 free every month by going to www.pocketpower.org
* A thorough gospel tract called:“Are you good enough to get to heaven?” :
http://www.livingwaters.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=92&category_id=8&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=199
* a lovely bookmark: http://lifecyclebooks.com/usa/product_category_results.asp?MAINCAT=Pro%20Life&SUBCAT=Bookmarks
* Pregnancy book (such as “What to Expect When you are Expecting”. I buy these in good used condition at yard sales & thrift stores)
* Special women’s devotionals, mostly scripture, since most of the moms are not Christians. There is a nice one called Daily Devotions for Mothers: http://www.christianbook.com/Christian/Books/product?item_no=94521&kw=94521&en=froogle&p=1013824#curr
* Handmade beaded bracelets for the mom to choose to remember our divine encounter
* Something cute for baby: knit beanie, little security square (blanket), booties, onesie, socks, etc.

A BOLD SUGGESTION:
I suggest that you prayerfully consider going to meet with the abortion clinic STAFF. It would be cool if you or someone on your team would call the mill ahead of time and ask to speak with an administrator. Or, ask for an appointment with the administrator. Say that you are organizing a help/support team for women in crisis pregnancies and thought she would know more about them than anyone else. Ask her “What is the number one need of women who are aborting?” Ask her how many women change their minds about aborting every week and why. Ask her what she thinks would be the most helpful, practical resource to provide for women who are pregnant. Ask her how she thinks you can best help pregnant teens. Ask her what adoption agencies or adoption attorneys she recommends. Educate her with what you know about adoption and the resources of local cpcs. Ask whatever else you can think of. See how much she will tell you about the "procedures". Share the gospel! Offer your own ministry as a support for women who just can't go through with the procedure. Jesus could use your bold and compassionate witness to the clinic worker to bring him or her to Christ! It has happened! Give clinic workers gospel tracts and pass along these two websites: www.clinicworker.com and www.turnstatesevidence.com .

God bless you as you serve Christ & your neighbor with the glorious gospel of grace. Please let me know if you do begin to minister. I would love to hear how the Lord uses you.

Why Minister at a Killing Place?

I am lifting up my voice for the voiceless.

Why Begin Ministering at an Abortion Clinic?
Because the Bible tells us to!

Proverbs 24:10-12
If you falter in times of trouble, how small is your strength! Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter. If you say, "But we knew nothing about this," does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who guards your life know it? Will he not repay each person according to what he has done?

Proverbs 31:8
Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.

Psalm 94:16
Who will rise up for me against the wicked? Who will take a stand for me against evildoers?

Proverbs 28:4
Those who forsake the law praise the wicked, but those who keep the law resist them.

Psalm 82:3
Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.

Mark 12:31
The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these."

Ephesians 5:11
Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.
Matthew 7:12
So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

Ezekiel 33:31, 32 My people come to you, as they usually do, and sit before you to listen to your words, but they do not put them into practice. With their mouths they express devotion, but their hearts are greedy for unjust gain. 32 Indeed, to them you are nothing more than one who sings love songs with a beautiful voice and plays an instrument well, for they hear your words but do not put them into practice.

Matthew 23:23
"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices – mint, dill and cummin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law – justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former.

James 1:27
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

James 2:17
In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

I John 3:18
Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.

Ephesians 2:10
For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Salt of the earth vs sugar candy

"You are the salt of the earth, not the sugar candy."
~ Charles Spurgeon

"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again?
It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.'
~ Jesus in Matthew 5:13

"Therefore, salt is good; but if even salt has become tasteless, with what will it be seasoned?
~ Jesus in Luke 14:34

Salt preserves from corruption. The disciples of Christ preserve the world from general corruption. Whatever becomes utterly corrupted is doomed to be destroyed. Salt is worthless if it has lost its qualities. It preserves no longer. It is fit only to be cast out and trodden under foot. So, too, if those who are the salt of the earth cease to communicate saving power, they are fit only to be cast out, and Christ will cast such out of His mouth. See Re 3:16.
~ People's New Testament

While there is an emphasis in the utilization of salt in God's prescription of worship and service, we find that today's worship is more often like colorful sugar candy treats. While candy is pleasing to the eye and to the tongue, it is not nutritional. Sugar often causes us to crave more of the same. It can also take away our appetite for nutritional food. What kind of spiritual food is being offered at your church?

Here are some interesting scriptures about the importance of salt & the prohibition against leaven and honey, followed with an excellent commentary by Matthew Henry. There are some amazing correlations to today's 'worship'. I'd like to hear your thoughts.

Together for Life & Eternity,

Sanctuary Ministries

'No grain offering, which you bring to the LORD, shall be made with leaven,
for you shall not offer up in smoke any leaven or any honey as an offering by fire to the LORD...
Every grain offering of yours, moreover, you shall season with salt,
so that the salt of the covenant of your God shall not be lacking from your grain offering;
with all your offerings you shall offer salt.'
Leviticus 2:11,13

Leaven and honey are forbidden to be put in any of their meat-offerings: No leaven, nor any honey, in any offering made by fire.

1. ..The New Testament comparing pride and hypocrisy to leaven because they swell like leaven, comparing also malice and wickedness to leaven because they sour like leaven, we are to understand and improve this as a caution to take heed of those sins which will certainly spoil the acceptableness of our spiritual sacrifices. Pure hands must be lifted up without wrath, and all our gospel feasts kept with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

2. Honey was forbidden, though Canaan flowed with it, because to eat much honey is not good (Prov. 25:16, 27); it turns to choler and bitterness in the stomach, though luscious to the taste. Some think the chief reason why those two things, leaven and honey, were forbidden, was because the Gentiles used them very much in their sacrifices, and God's people must not learn or use the way of the heathen, but His services must be the reverse of their idolatrous services; see Deu. 12:30, 31. Some make this application of this double prohibition: leaven signifies grief and sadness of spirit (Ps. 73:21), My heart was leavened; honey signifies sensual pleasure and mirth. In our service of God both these must be avoided, and a mean observed between those extremes; for the sorrow of the world worketh death, and a love to the delights of sense is a great enemy to holy love.

II. Salt is REQUIRED in all their offerings, vs 13. ... there was a chamber in the court of the temple called the chamber of salt, in which they laid it up. Can that which is unsavoury be eaten without salt? God would hereby intimate to them that their sacrifices in themselves were unsavoury. The saints, who are living sacrifices to God, must have salt in themselves, for every sacrifice must be salted with salt (Mk. 9:49, 50), and our speech must be always with grace (Col. 4:6), so must all our religious performances be seasoned with that salt. Christianity is the salt of the earth.

Excerpted from Matthew Henry's commentary on Leviticus 2
http://biblebrowser.com/leviticus/2-11.htm

What turns the soul from sin & the world to God & holiness?

The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul.
The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple.
The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes.
The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
Psalm 19:7-9

The Holy Scripture is of much greater benefit to us than day or night, than the air we breathe, or the light of the sun. To recover man out of his fallen state, there is need of the Word of God. The Word translated Law, may be rendered doctrine, and be understood as meaning all that teaches us true religion. The whole is perfect; its tendency is to convert or turn the soul from sin and the world, to God and holiness. It shows our sinfulness and misery in departing from God, and the necessity of our return to Him. This testimony is sure, to be fully depended on: the ignorant and unlearned believing what God saith, become wise unto salvation. It is a sure direction in the way of duty. It is a sure fountain of living comforts, and a sure foundation of lasting hopes. The statues of the Lord are right, just as they should be; and, because they are right, they rejoice the heart. The commandments of the Lord are pure, holy, just, and good. By them we discover our need of a Saviour; and then learn how to adorn His gospel. They are the means which the Holy Spirit uses in enlightening the eyes; they bring us to a sight and sense of our sin and misery, and direct us in the way of duty. The fear of the Lord, that is, true religion and godliness, is clean, it will cleanse our way; and it endureth for ever. The ceremonial law is long since done away, but the law concerning the fear of God is ever the same. The judgments of the Lord, His precepts, are true; they are righteous, and they are so altogether; there is no unrighteousness in any of them. Gold is only for the body, and the concerns of time; but grace is for the soul, and the concerns of eternity. The Word of God, received by faith, is more precious than gold; it is sweet to the soul, sweeter than honey.
~ Matthew Henry

Why Mothers Abort: Moral Development & Reasoning

Where do human beings get moral reasoning? How do they learn to care for people beyond themselves and the individuals in their family or other loved ones? Where does empathy for others come from and how can it be developed in selfish individuals? Even secular psychologists are trying to figure this out.

Over four abortion sessions at Orlando Women's Center we meet 80-100 aborting women and men each week. This means we speak to 4000-5000 people who are aborting babies every year. We have been ministering faithfully for almost two decades. We do not weed out the ones who have gone to a pregnancy center for counseling. We do not discriminate and only speak to the women who will experience 'regret' after murdering their baby. We simply meet ALL aborting women and men on any given day of ministry. Since half of the mothers who are murdering their babies have killed a baby before, we engage thousands of post-abortive women every year as well. Our experience with the people who are actually committing abortions allows us to study the actual group of human beings who are willing to murder babies. This is very significant because our base of information is not a skewed group (such as those with whom post-abortion 'healing' ministries are interacting). We are simply meeting women and men who have pre-arranged to kill babies.

As Christians our presupposition of why women murder their infants comes from an objective source of truth: The Holy Bible. God inspired men to put pen to paper and write the scriptures. God is the One who created human beings, including the women (and men) who murder babies. The Word of God teaches us that the primary reason that mothers murder their babies is because their “heart is deceitful above all things & desperately wicked ..." (Jeremiah 17:9) In spite of the fact that each of the abortion-bound women are offered our personal help through pregnancy and given information on how they can personally choose a loving adoptive couple to raise their baby, the vast majority of mothers will still murder their baby. We provide compelling information regarding adoption to every single abortion-bound mom. While abortion costs the aborting mother anywhere from $300-$12,000 (http://www.wftv.com/news/14740280/detail.html) at Orlando Women’s Center, adoption is FREE for the birth mother. Adoption-minded mothers may even qualify to receive financial assistance with their living and medical expenses.

We understand, through the teachings of the Bible, that it is the sin nature of the mother (an evil heart) that is the most powerful and noxious influence in her decision to have her baby murdered. The woman’s immorality and lack of compassion and empathy for her innocent son or daughter is the driving force & primary cause of the abortion. God reveals to us that an abortive mother’s greatest problem is the problem of her heart: “For out of the HEART proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications ..." Matthew 15:19

Secular psychologists have been trying to understand how human beings develop moral reasoning. Having specialized in research on moral education and reasoning, Lawrence Kohlberg created a new field within psychology called: "moral development". His theory on the stages of moral development are so interesting that I have posted excerpts from Wikipedia below. Even the humanistic, man-centered social scientists are baffled by the self-centered wickedness of the human heart.

As you read Kohlberg’s outline, I would like you to consider the role of the church and the Christian in helping to develop biblical morality (which is TRUE morality) and a sense of compassion and empathy for infants in the womb. Only the Word of God and the gospel of Jesus Christ can remedy the awful reality of the aborting mother’s internal corruption that leads her to deny the very right for her own baby to live in order that she may do what most pleases her own selfish, sinful interests. How are we to help aborting and post-abortive women (and men) to get beyond acting out of self-interest and to go beyond a child’s self-centered, self-indulgent, egocentric morality? What does God teach us to do to address the conscience (the seat of the knowledge of right and wrong) within the individual aborting and post-abortive mother? It is my contention that modern Christendom and much of crisis pregnancy and post-abortion ministry promotes a shallow, childish, selfish, self-interest driven, ‘me and mine’ mentality and witholds the ONE THING that can free sinful women and men from the tyranny of SELF: the Law of God and the gospel call to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. This intentional failure to share a biblical gospel, from the pulpit and beyond, is what the Bible identifies as ‘suppressing the truth in unrighteousness’ and it began in the Garden when the serpent questioned God’s holy right to rule Adam and Eve. The result? SIN and subsequent MURDER in the very first human family!

Lawrence Kohlberg's stages of moral development/moral reasoning

Kohlberg's six stages can be more generally grouped into three levels of two stages each: pre-conventional, conventional and post-conventional. Following Piaget's constructivist requirements for a stage model, as described in his theory of cognitive development, it is extremely rare to regress backward in stages—to lose the use of higher stage abilities. Stages cannot be skipped; each provides a new and necessary perspective, more comprehensive and differentiated than its predecessors but integrated with them.

Level 1 (Pre-Conventional)
1. Obedience and punishment orientation
(How can I avoid punishment?)
2. Self-interest orientation
(What's in it for me?)

Level 2 (Conventional)
3. Interpersonal accord and conformity
(Social norms)
(The good boy/good girl attitude)
4. Authority and social-order maintaining orientation
(Law and order morality)

Level 3 (Post-Conventional)
5. Social contract orientation
6. Universal ethical principles
(Principled conscience)

Pre-Conventional
The pre-conventional level of moral reasoning is especially common in children, although adults can also exhibit this level of reasoning. Reasoners at this level judge the morality of an action by its direct consequences. The pre-conventional level consists of the first and second stages of moral development, and is solely concerned with the self in an egocentric manner.

In Stage one (obedience and punishment driven), individuals focus on the direct consequences of their actions on themselves. For example, an action is perceived as morally wrong because the perpetrator is punished. "The last time I did that I got spanked so I will not do it again." The worse the punishment for the act is, the more "bad" the act is perceived to be. This can give rise to an inference that even innocent victims are guilty in proportion to their suffering. It is "egocentric", lacking recognition that others' points of view are different from one's own. There is "deference to superior power or prestige".

Stage two (self-interest driven) espouses the "what's in it for me" position, in which right behavior is defined by whatever is in the individual's best interest. Stage two reasoning shows a limited interest in the needs of others, but only to a point where it might further the individual's own interests. As a result, concern for others is not based on loyalty or intrinsic respect, but rather a "you scratch my back, and I'll scratch yours" mentality. The lack of a societal perspective in the pre-conventional level is quite different from the social contract (stage five), as all actions have the purpose of serving the individual's own needs or interests. For the stage two theorist, the world's perspective is often seen as morally relative.

Conventional
The conventional level of moral reasoning is typical of adolescents and adults. Those who reason in a conventional way judge the morality of actions by comparing them to society's views and expectations. The conventional level consists of the third and fourth stages of moral development.

In Stage three (interpersonal accord and conformity driven), the self enters society by filling social roles. Individuals are receptive to approval or disapproval from others as it reflects society's accordance with the perceived role. They try to be a "good boy" or "good girl" to live up to these expectations, having learned that there is inherent value in doing so. Stage three reasoning may judge the morality of an action by evaluating its consequences in terms of a person's relationships, which now begin to include things like respect, gratitude and the "golden rule". "I want to be liked and thought well of; apparently, not being naughty makes people like me." Desire to maintain rules and authority exists only to further support these social roles. The intentions of actions play a more significant role in reasoning at this stage; "they mean well ...".

In Stage four (authority and social order obedience driven), it is important to obey laws, dictums and social conventions because of their importance in maintaining a functioning society. Moral reasoning in stage four is thus beyond the need for individual approval exhibited in stage three; society must learn to transcend individual needs. A central ideal or ideals often prescribe what is right and wrong, such as in the case of fundamentalism. If one person violates a law, perhaps everyone would—thus there is an obligation and a duty to uphold laws and rules. When someone does violate a law, it is morally wrong; culpability is thus a significant factor in this stage as it separates the bad domains from the good ones. Most active members of society remain at stage four, where morality is still predominantly dictated by an outside force.

Post-Conventional
The post-conventional level, also known as the principled level, consists of stages five and six of moral development. There is a growing realization that individuals are separate entities from society, and that the individual's own perspective may take precedence over society's view. Because of this level's "nature of self before others", the behavior of post-conventional individuals, especially those at stage 6, can be confused with that of those at the pre-conventional level.[

In Stage five (social contract driven), individuals are viewed as holding different opinions and values. Similarly, laws are regarded as social contracts rather than rigid dictums. Those which do not promote the general welfare should be changed when necessary to meet "the greatest good for the greatest number of people". This is achieved through majority decision, and inevitable compromise. Thus democratic government is ostensibly based on stage five reasoning.

In Stage six (universal ethical principles driven), moral reasoning is based on abstract reasoning using universal ethical principles. Laws are valid only insofar as they are grounded in justice, and a commitment to justice carries with it an obligation to disobey unjust laws. Rights are unnecessary, as social contracts are not essential for deontic moral action. Decisions are not reached hypothetically in a conditional way but rather categorically in an absolute way, as in the philosophy of Immanuel Kant. This involves an individual imagining what they would do in another's shoes, if they believed what that other person imagines to be true. The resulting consensus is the action taken. In this way action is never a means but always an end in itself; the individual acts because it is right, and not because it is instrumental, expected, legal, or previously agreed upon. Although Kohlberg insisted that stage six exists, he found it difficult to identify individuals who consistently operated at that level.

Further stages
In Kohlberg's empirical studies of individuals throughout their life Kohlberg observed that some had apparently undergone moral stage regression. Faced with the option of either conceding that moral regression could occur or revising his theory, Kohlberg chose the latter, postulating the existence of sub-stages in which the emerging stage has not yet been fully integrated into the personality. In particular Kohlberg noted a stage 4½ or 4+, a transition from stage four to stage five, that shared characteristics of both. In this stage the individual is disaffected with the arbitrary nature of law and order reasoning; culpability is frequently turned from being defined by society to viewing society itself as culpable. This stage is often mistaken for the moral relativism of stage two, as the individual views those interests of society which conflict with their own as being relatively and morally wrong.Kohlberg noted that this was often observed in students entering college.

Kohlberg suggested that there may be a seventh stage—Transcendental Morality, or Morality of Cosmic Orientation—which linked religion with moral reasoning. Kohlberg's difficulties in obtaining empirical evidence for even a sixth stage, however, led him to emphasize the speculative nature of his seventh stage.

What does God say about the sin of Fornication? Part 2

If you refuse to stop having sex outside marriage & refuse to move out of the place that you share with your lover, and you are not afraid of the judgment of God, be sure of this: you are not born-again, you are a lost sinner.

The unholy alliance of the world, your sinful flesh and the devil are conspiring against the knowledge and admission of the truth.

You think that you are free, but you are deceived. It is obvious that your evil desires enslave you. Jesus says;

"Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a SLAVE of sin."
John 8:34

"Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?"
Romans 6:16

"… but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed."
James 1:14

"Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted Word, which is able to save your souls."
James 1:21

Do you say you are a Christian and yet you continue in sexual immorality? The Bible says that you are under the control of the devil and are deceived! How dare you defend the sin of fornication by the comfort of GOD in Jesus Christ and the grace of His divine forgiveness! Blasphemy! Be warned! Do NOT promote the lie that the GRACE of Jesus makes it EASIER for you to sin. The power of sin comes from within YOU, not from God. Be afraid! You are blaspheming the Holy Spirit when you ascribe the justification for sexual immorality to the knowledge that you will be forgiven.

The apostle Paul addresses this same deception in Roman 6:15, 21,23: “What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly NOT! ... for the end of those things is DEATH ... For the wages of sin is DEATH."

“The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” 2 Timothy 2:19

Don't be like one of those false professers ...
"They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work."
Titus 1:16

Listen to the voice of the Savior:
"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord ...' and I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness." (Matthew 7:21-23)

Jesus will say, ‘I do not know you … Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity.” (Luke 13:27)

The Bible assures us that God does not even HEAR the prayer of a person who harbors sin and excuses sin. In fact, did you know that God calls the prayer of a fornicator an ABOMINATION?

"If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me."
Psalm 66:18

"One who turns his ear away from hearing the Law, even his prayer is anABOMINATION."
Proverbs 28:9

"We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin …We know that whoever is born of God does not sin ..."
1 John 5:18

Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God. (3 John 1:11)
Know this. You will not get away with any of your sin. If you continue in your quest to satisfy your sexual desires and fornicate, things will not go well for you. You will wax worse and worse.

"…while evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived."
2 Timothy 3:13

God sees you as His enemy. He opposes you because you are;

"…alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works"
Colossians 1:21

"For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil."
1 Peter 3:12

Face it, if you persist in sexual sin, defending and justifying and excusing your sin, you are under the judgment of God!

"I will utter My judgments against them concerning all their wickedness
Jeremiah 1:16

What does God require? He commands you to turn from your sexual immorality and flee to Him for forgiveness and the power to live in fear of Him and to walk in holiness!

"He must turn from evil and do good."
1 Peter 3:11

You can be changed on the inside! Only God can work this change in your heart. Only through Jesus Christ can your mind, will and emotions be redeemed to love Him & His ways. You must be born-again!

"As a result, he does not live the rest of his earthly life for evil human desires,
but rather for the will of God."
Peter 4:2

Repent that you may …

".. escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires."
2 Peter 1:4

You must truly repent if you have been involved in sexual sin. Genuine repentance involves more than saying you are sorry for your sin to God. You are not forgiven by merely feeling or saying that you are sorry. To receive forgiveness and cleansing from God you are required to TURN from and forsake sin.
Go to God in wholehearted sorrow and repent now.

Jesus didn’t come simply to keep us from going to hell. Christ’s perfect sinless life and sacrifice on the Cross and triumph over death at the resurrection is a double cure. Jesus rescues the penitent sinner from both: the PENALY of sin (Hell) and the power of sin (law of sin that reigns in your carnal unregenerate flesh).

Why choose God’s wrath?

Repent and sin no more today!

What Does God Say about the Sin of Fornication (sex outside marriage)?

What Does God Say About the Sin of Fornication?
(Sex outside the covenant of marriage)

God ALWAYS says NO to fornication and all sexual immorality!

Sexual sin is extremely serious to God.

The Bible declares that :

No fornicator has any inheritance
in the kingdom of God.
Ephesians 5:5

Fornicators … God will judge.
Hebrews 13:4

WARNING!

Do not be foolish and presume that God will forgive you for the sin of fornication!
Where you are or are NOT a professing Christian, your God-given conscience tells you that sex outside marriage is wrong.

The Bible says that lust and impure thoughts come from an evil, sinful heart.

Jesus asks: “Why do you entertain evil thoughts in your hearts?”
Matthew 9:4

”For out of the heart come evil thoughts … sexual immorality”
Matthew 15:19 Mark 7:21 Luke 6:45

”Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived .. .
I Corinthians 6:9,10

Now the body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord …
Flee sexual immorality.
Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit … and you are not your own? … therefore glorify God in your body
I Corinthians 6:18-20

The Bible describes fornication as a wicked work of the sinful flesh;

"The works of the flesh … fornication." (Galatians 5:19)

Listen to God speak to you through His moral Law. Jesus didn’t come to do away with the 10 commandments. In fact, the Savior RAISED the bar of holy requirements from God.
While the 7th commandment says: 'You shall not commit adultery', Jesus upped the ante. The Master assures us that it is a sin even to lust (dwell on sexual thoughts and fantasize) after another person in your mind!

'But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.' ~ Jesus in Matthew 5:27-28

Jesus goes on to say that it would be better for you to pluck out your eye than sin with lust!!! Sexual sin is that serious!

When you actually go through with sexual sin and consummate your lustful sin of adultery with another person, you are condemned by your conscience, which always affirms God’s perfect moral teachings.

How do you know what God commands? How do you know what sin is? Romans 3:20 explains:
“For by the Law comes the knowledge of sin.”

Know this … the Law is made for … whoremongers.
I Timothy 9,10

You may not consider your boyfriend or girlfriend a whore or whoremonger, but by the Bible’s definition that is someone who has sex with a person they are not married to.

What does God require of you?

This is the will of God, your holiness:
That you refrain from sexual immorality.
I Thessalonians 4:3-8

Holiness and sexual purity are NOT an option.
They are commanded of you.
Just because your church doesn't teach holiness or sexual purity, you are not excused. You are not off the hook. Don't be deceived by false teachers!

“ … but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written; Be holy as I am holy.” I Peter 1:15, 16 (Lev 11:44,45; 19:2; 20:7)

The Christian standard of, and motivation for, holiness is the absolute moral perfection of God Himself. (see Matt 5:48; Eph 5:1)

'Therefore … let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.' II Cornithians 7:1

Jesus assures you that His standard for you is perfect holiness;

Therefore you shall be perfect
just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
Matthew 5:48

Without holiness no one will see the Lord.
Hebrews 12:14

If you say and believe that God will forgive your sexual sin, you are deceived. The Bible says otherwise. At the judgment Jesus will look at you and say;

'I don't know you or where you come from.
Away from Me, all you evildoers!'
Luke 13:27

On that great and terrible day of the Lord…

“…those who have done good will rise to live,
and those who have done evil will rise to be condemned."
John 5:29

"…those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger.
There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil."
Romans 2:8, 9

Flee fornication or ....Be afraid!

“If we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment …”
Hebrews 10: 26,27

Do not be foolish! and fear your circumstances. Losing your girlfriend or boyfriend, or having to do without sex is nothing compared with having to face God.

Friend, be wise … Fear the Lord!
Be afraid to remain in sexual sin or to give yourself over to sexual sin!

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom …" Psalm 111:10

"Fear God …”! I Peter 2:17

God is kind enough to give you advance notice, warning you to:

"Avoid every kind of evil."
1 Thessalonians 5:22

You can’t blame God for your sexual sin. You cannot say you didn't know that it was wrong. It is your responsibility to obey Him while you live. If you refuse to flee sexual immorality, you will die in your sins. You will be like those who …

"… perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved."
2 Thessalonians 2:10

Repent and cry out to God to save you from the power & penalty of your sin. Trust in Jesus Christ as you would trust a parachute when your plane is going to crash. Put on the Lord Jesus Christ & obey His commandments. Don't wait another minute! Today, hear His voice, repent & believe the gospel!

Serving the Lord & Saving Babies in the Gifts & Unity of the Holy Spirit

Precious feet of a baby at 10 weeks gestation

You shall not murder.
~ God

When Jesus was in the womb His pre-born cousin John leapt for joy over His presence. The Savior was incarnate at conception. He was a person, a living human being, in His mother Mary's womb. If we all saw the pre-born infants as precious human beings, the way God does, we would demonize the pre-meditated murder of children. Who else is behind the shedding of innocent blood, but the murderer-from-the beginning?

As we loved, reasoned with, pleaded with & offered help to over a dozen aborting mothers today I realized how each of us Christians has a voice to bring to the lost women and men at the killing place. We are all different, with varying backgrounds, personalities and gifts of the Lord. Some of us are apologists, some are evangelists, some, like me, are prophetically motivated. We are blessed to serve with Christians who are teachers, exhorters, givers, leaders, followers, merciful and servants. I love watching the Holy Spirit use everyone as they yield themselves to the Lord and reach out to the perishing in Jesus' Name.

"Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us,
whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering:
or he that teacheth, on teaching;
Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation:
he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity;
he that ruleth, with diligence;
he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness ... "
Romans 12:6-8

In entering the mission field of abortion clinics, Christians can use the gifts and callings which God has given to them. Each of us is obeying the Great Commission, to seek and save the lost. The Savior gave us all our marching orders:

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." ~
Matthew 28:19-20

God established His Law and told His people to teach them to their children and their children's children for instruction in righteousness. The Lord Jesus send us forth to make disciples, teaching them to obey His precious Law. The Bible says that the Law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul, bringing knowlege of sin, light to the eyes and is a tutor to Jesus Christ. Psalm 119:1 declares: "Blessed are they whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the LORD.." The Sixth commandment, "You shall not murder" is given to us by God to be obeyed. When we speak to our aborting neighbors we are to bring them the command; "Shed not innocent blood in this place". We are to give them spiritual food and thoughts and questions and answers as they wrestle, with utter futility, against God in their rebellion. Thomas Watson noted the wisdom of the proverbs when he wrote: "Better are the reproofs of a friend, than the kisses of a harlot." Although we are tempted, as a professing Christian we met today, to comfort and support a woman who is dead-set on murdering her baby, God shows us that is not true friendship. We are to share the mercy and truth of the commandments. That is how to truly love our neighbor. "Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful." Proverbs 27:6

Scripture reveals hat the problem of sexual sin and murder are problems of the heart. The commandment helps to identify the core dilemma of a crisis pregnancy is a moral failure, 'sin'. Even before a mother pays to have her poor little one dismembered or delievered into the toilet, she has hated her baby in her mind and thoughts and she has already become a murderer of the heart. Aborting mothers and fathers find that they have energy and enthusiasm and determination to sin against their conscience, which tells them that murder is wrong. The moral Law of God identifies this problem and brings to light that they are in rebellion against their Creator, who will be their Judge at their death.

Since we are so unfamiliar with using the Law and being forthright when we address aborting moms and dads, I have taken the liberty of taking some powerful excerpts from a biblical treatise on God's Law written by Thomas Watson. The following is taken from Watson's wonderful book: The Ten Commandments.

Enjoy this precious gem of God's grace and may the Holy Spirit apply these truths to your soul and mind that you might see yourself in truth and bring the Word of the Lord to the ungodly abortion-minded people around you, in faithful obedience to Christ ...

The Ten Commandments

Obedience

‘Take heed, and hearken, O Israel; this day thou art become the people of the Lord thy God. Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of the Lord thy God, and do his commandments.’ Deut 27: 9, 10.

What is the duty which God requireth of man? Obedience to His revealed will. It is not enough to hear God’s voice, but we must obey. Obedience is a part of the honour we owe to God. ‘Obey the voice of the Lord God,’ and do His commandments. Obedience without knowledge is blind, and knowledge without obedience is lame ...so, if knowledge does not bring forth the child of obedience, it will die. ‘To obey is better than sacrifice.’ 1 Sam 15: 22...God disclaims sacrifice, if obedience be wanting. ‘I spake not unto your fathers concerning burnt offerings, but this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice.’ Jer 7: 22 ... He looked chiefly for obedience — without which, sacrifice was but devout folly. The end why God has given us His laws, is obedience. ‘Ye shall do my judgements, and keep Mine ordinances.’ Lev 18: 4.

What is the rule of obedience?

The written Word. That is proper obedience which the Word requires; our obedience must correspond with the Word ...To seem to be zealous, if it be not according to the Word, is not obedience, but will-worship...

Obedience must be extensive, it must reach to all God’s commands. ‘Then shall I not be ashamed when I have respect unto all Thy commandments.’ Psa 119: 6... True obedience runs through all duties of religion, as the blood through all the veins...

Whence is it that men do not obey God? They know their duty, but do it not.
(1) The not obeying God is for want of faith...Satan’s master-piece, his draw-net by which he drags millions to hell, is to keep them in infidelity; he knows, if he can but keep them from believing the truth, he is sure to keep them from obeying it.
(2) The not obeying God is for want of self-denial. God commands one thing, and men’s lusts command another; and they will rather die than deny their lusts ...

Obey God’s voice. This is the beauty of a Christian.
What are the great arguments or incentives to obedience?
(1) Obedience makes us precious to God, his favourites. ‘If ye will obey My voice, ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto Me above all people;’ .. My portion, My jewels, the apple of Mine eye. Exod 19: 5.
(2) There is nothing lost by obedience...Let us obey. God. ‘If thou shalt hearken to the voice of the Lord, to do all His commandments, blessed shalt thou be in the field: blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.’ Deut 28: 1, 3, 5. To obey is the best way to thrive...Christ ‘became the Author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey Him.’ Heb 5: 9. While we please God, we please ourselves; while we give Him the duty, He gives us the dowry.
(3) What a sin is disobedience! It is an irrational sin. We are not able to stand it out in defiance against God. ‘Are we stronger than He?’ Will the sinner go to measure arms with God? 1 Cor 10: 22. He is the Father Almighty, who can command legions. If we have no strength to resist Him, it is irrational to disobey Him. It is irrational, as it is against all law and equity. We have our daily subsistence from Him; in Him we live and move. Is it not just that as we live by Him, we should live to Him? that as He gives us our allowance, so we should give Him our allegiance?

It is a destructive sin. ‘The Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire, taking vengeance on them that obey not the gospel.’ 2 Thess 1: 7, 8. He who refuses to obey God’s will in commanding, shall be sure to obey His will in punishing. While the sinner thinks to slip the knot of obedience, he twists the cord of his own damnation, and he perishes without excuse. ‘The servant which knew his lord’s will, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.’ Luke 12: 47. God will say, ‘Why did you not obey? you knew how to do good, but did not; therefore your blood is upon your own head.’

What means shall we use that we may obey?

(1) Serious consideration. Consider, God’s commands are not grievous: He commands nothing unreasonable. 1 John 5: 3. It is easier to obey the commands of God than sin. The commands of sin are burdensome — let a man be under the power of any lust, how he tires himself! what hazards he runs, even to endangering his health and soul, that he may satisfy his lusts!... ‘They weary themselves to commit iniquity;’ and are not God’s commands more easy to obey?...

God commands nothing but what is beneficial. ‘And now, Israel, what does the Lord require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, and to keep His statutes, which I command thee this day, for thy good?’ Deut 10: 12, 13. To obey God, is not so much our duty as our privilege ... He bids us repent; and why? That our sins may be blotted out. Acts 3: 19. He commands us to believe: and why? That we may be saved. Acts 16: 31. There is love in every command: as if a king should bid one of his subjects dig in a gold mine, and then take the gold to himself.

(2) Earnest supplication. Implore the help of the Spirit to carry you on in obedience. God’s Spirit makes obedience easy and delightful... if God’s Spirit quicken and draw the heart, it is not hard to obey. When a gale of the Spirit blows, we go full sail in obedience. Turn His promise into a prayer. ‘I will put My Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in My statutes.’ Ezek 36: 27. The promise encourages us, the Spirit enables us to obey.

The Sixth Commandment
‘Thou shalt not kill.’ Exod 20: 13.

In this commandment is a sin forbidden, which is murder, ‘Thou shalt not kill,’ and a duty implied, which is, to preserve our own life, and the life of others.

...We must not injure another in his body. Life is the most precious thing; and God has set this commandment as a fence about it, to preserve it. He made a statute which has never to this day been repealed. ‘Whose sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed.’ Gen 9: 6. In the old law, if a man killed another unawares, he might take sanctuary; but if he killed him willingly, though he fled to the sanctuary, the holiness of the place would not defend him. ‘If a man come presumptuously upon his neighbour, to slay him with guile, thou shalt take him from mine altar, that he may die.’ Exod 21: 14

...To shed the blood of a near relation aggravates the murder, and dyes it of a deeper crimson.

...It should be for a lamentation that this land is defiled with blood. Numb 35: 33. How common is this sin in this boasting age!..Some make no more of killing men than sheep. ‘In thy skirts is found the blood of the poor innocents.’ Jer 2: 34. ...May not the Lord justly take up a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because ‘blood toucheth blood’? Hos 4: 2.

Beware of having your hands imbrued in the blood of others...To deter all from having their hands defiled with blood, consider what a sin murder is. It is
(1) A God-affronting sin. It is a breach of His command, and trampling upon His royal edict. It is a wrong offered to God’s image. ‘In the image of God made He man.’ Gen 9: 6. It is tearing God’s picture, and breaking in pieces the King of heaven’s broad seal...The man-slayer destroys God’s temple; and will God endure to be thus confronted by proud dust?

(2) It is a crying sin...The voice of blood cries to Heaven. There are three sins in Scripture which are said to cry. Oppression. Psa 12: 5. Sodomy. Gen 18: 21. Bloodshed. This cries so loud, that it drowns all the other cries. ‘The voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto Me from the ground.’ Gen 4: 10. Abel’s blood had as many tongues as drops, to cry aloud for vengeance. This sin of blood lay heavy on David’s conscience; though he had sinned by adultery, yet, what he cried out for most was, this crimson sin of blood. ‘Deliver me from blood-guiltiness, O God.’ Psa 51: 14. Though the Lord visits for every sin, yet He will in a special manner make ‘inquisition for blood.’ Psa 9: 12. If a beast killed a man it was to be stoned, and its flesh was not to be eaten. Exod 21: 28. If God would have a beast stoned that killed a man, which had not the use of reason to restrain it, much more will he be incensed against those who, against both reason and conscience, take away the life of a man.

(3) Murder is a diabolical sin. It makes a man the devil’s first born, for he was a murderer from the beginning. John 8: 44. By saying to our first parents, ‘Ye shall not die,’ he brought death into the world.

(4) It is a cursed sin. If there be a curse for him that smites his neighbour secretly, he is doubly cursed that kills him. Deut 27: 24. The first man that was born was a murderer. ‘And now art thou cursed from the earth.’ Gen 4: 11. He was an excommunicated person, banished from the place of God’s public worship. God set a mark upon bloody Cain. Gen 4: 15. Some think that mark was horror of mind, which, above all sins, accompanies the sin of blood. Others think it was a continual shaking and trembling in his flesh. He carried a curse along with him.

(5) It is a wrath-procuring sin. 2 Kings 24: 4. It procures temporal judgements...Vengeance as a bloodhound pursues the murderer. ‘Bloody men shall not live out half their days.’ Psa 55: 23. It brings eternal judgements. It binds men over to hell... Let all impenitent murderers read their doom in Rev 21: 8: ‘Murderers shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.’ We read of ‘fire mingled with blood.’ Rev 8: 7. Such as have their hands full of blood must undergo the wrath of God. Here is fire mingled with blood, and this fire is inextinguishable. Mark 9: 44. Time will not finish it, tears will not quench it.

Is the gospel of Jesus Christ a message unto salvation or a message unto judgment?

16 weeks gestation

Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter.
Proverbs 24:11

"God has to be seen in His wholeness and God is as much glorified in His wrath against ungodliness
as He is in His grace towards those who believe."
~ John MacArthur

While we know that the gospel of Christ is a powerful message of salvation by grace to those who believe, we have a hard time believing that this same gospel is also a message unto judgment to those who will not savingly repent. And yet, this is exactly what scripture teaches us. We want to know and understand the whole counsel of God. When we go out to the abortuaries with the gospel of life & eternity, the vast majority of those who are murdering the little babies reject our message. Our desire is to bring the perishing mothers and fathers who are dragging their infants to slaughter the mercy and truth of Jesus Christ, that they might be granted repentance unto life. We want to give them HOPE. And yet, there is no lasting, eternal hope apart from salvation in Christ. If they refuse this HOPE, they remain HOPE-less. We must know that in the providence of God He sends us to our lost neighbors at the killing place. What we do not know is who is going to be judged by the message and who is going to be saved by it. "Salvation is of the Lord."-Jonah 2:9 Salvation is the work of God. It is He alone who quickens the soul. Psalm 147:11 tells us that "The LORD delights in those who fear Him, who put their hope in His unfailing love." However, those who refuse to heed and obey the warning of God and turn from their wicked ways will not be spared, but damned. Our duty before God and man is this: to preach the gospel, commanding all men everywhere to repent and believe. If the hearers harden their hearts as in the day of rebellion, their blood and the blood of their poor little babies, will not be on our hands. As God has promised in Ezekiel 33:9: "But if you do warn the wicked man to turn from his ways and he does not do so, he will die for his sin, but you will have saved yourself."

I have taken excerpts from a sermon by John MacArthur that will help you to understand that the purpose of God in sending preachers is not always for grace, sometimes He sends preachers for judgment. Those of us who have been arrested and won by Jesus Christ are His people, His ambassadors, 'the righteous' by His glorious grace. Please consider that although children in the womb are not innocent or righteous compared to God, but they are innocent and righteous compared (or relative) to other human beings. As Jesus so beautifully taught of children 'of such is the kingdom of heaven' and 'unless you become as a little child you will in no way inherit the kingdom of heaven'. So, as you read this sermon, be mindful of the imperiled orphans who are being led to slaughter by their parents whenever you read about the blood of the righteous. I don't think it's too far of a stretch, do you?

Therefore I send you prophets and wise men and scribes, some of whom you will kill and crucify, and some you will flog in your synagogues and persecute from town to town, so that on you may come all the righteous bloodshed on earth, from the blood of innocent Abel to the blood of Zechariah the son of Barachiah, whom you murdered between the sanctuary and the altar. Truly, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation.
Matthew 23:34-36

... this is a very difficult thing to understand. But the Lord says, I am sending you these people, not so that you might have another chance to believe. But that you might have continued chances to reject so that you will pile upon yourself a greater weight of guilt which deserves a severer judgment. It's a fearful thought, but that's what He's saying. "Because when I send you these prophets and these wise men and these scribes some of them you will kill and crucify and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute them from city to city so that upon you will come all the righteous blood." ...

The purpose of sending the preachers is not for grace, it's for judgment. And may I suggest this to you, that when you hear the message of Jesus Christ and you hear the gospel of Jesus Christ, it is a message unto salvation or it is a message unto judgment. And the more you hear it the more it comes to you as a message of grace and the more you reject it, the more it piles upon you the guilt of judgment. For the more you have, the more you're responsible for. To whom much is given, what? Much is required. Better off only to have heard once than to have heard a multiplicity of times and continue to reject, you just pile on greater guilt...

In 2 Corinthians 2:14, (Paul) says "Thanks be unto God." And this is a most unusual passage for which to be thankful by the way. But he says, "Thanks be unto God who always causes us to triumph in Christ and makes manifest the smell of His knowledge by us in every place." Now I want you to listen to this. Paul says I'm thankful that no matter I do, no matter where I preach, no matter what the response is, we triumph. Every time a preacher preaches the gospel he's victorious. Every time the word goes forth it accomplishes the purpose to which it was sent and listen to me, the purpose is not always salvation. The purpose sometimes is compounded guilt. Do you understand that?

The purpose sometimes is to bring the grace of salvation to the heart and God is glorified through His grace. The purpose other times is to compound guilt to bring judgment and God is equally glorified through His judgment, because God is as much a God of judgment as He is a God of grace. I don't know that we have understood that properly. And so verse 15 says, "For," here's why we can thank God that we always triumph, "For we are unto God a sweet taste of Christ in them that are saved and in them that perish." Why? You say you mean it's a sweet taste in God's mouth when people perish? It's a sweet smell to God when people perish? It's hard for us to understand that. But God is as much revealed in His glory in the devastation of judgment as He is in the expression of grace and salvation.

God is not lopsided. He's not all love and grace and kindness and mercy. He's a God of holiness and a God of justice and a God of judgment and a God of wrath and a God of vengeance against evil. And if men choose that, He will be glorified in their condemnation as much as He is glorified in the conversion of those who believe. God will be glorified either way. And so it is a sweet smell to them that are saved and them that perish. To the ones who are saved, it is a smell, says verse 16, "of life unto life." To the ones who perish, it is a smell of death unto death.

What a statement. What a statement. So He says we don't corrupt the word of God in verse 17. We don't alter the message. We give it as straight as it can be given and we know that we triumphed every time we give it, because God is glorified when some believe He's glorified in His great grace, when some reject His glorified in His holy judgment against their rejection and their sin. Do you see the point? And God has to be glorified as much in this end as He is in this end, else He is not revealing Himself fully as God.

Perhaps Revelation 22:11 might help. In Revelation 22:11, at the conclusion of all that God could possibly say at the last Chapter in the Bible, the message is all given. This is the last word, "He that is unjust, let him be unjust still. He that is filthy, let him be filthy still. He that is righteous, let him be righteous still. He that is holy, let him be holy still." In other words, as it is at the end so it'll be forever. And if you are unjust and filthy, then let it be so forever. God will be glorified even in that act of judgment against your ungodliness. If you are righteous and godly, let it be that forever. God will be glorified through that as well.

Go back to Romans Chapter 9 for a moment. I want to show you two other verses. We studied these recently. And here the apostle Paul in Romans 9 is saying God has a right to do what He wants. And he says in verse 21, "If God is the potter and He desires to make a vessel unto dishonor, that's His privilege." The potter can do that. He can make one vessel to honor and another unto dishonor. That's the potter's choice. And so he says and it's an interesting way he says it, it's almost like verse 22 is so "What if God willing to show His wrath and make His power implied against sin known endured with much long-suffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction." What that verse is saying is look, if God wants to display his wrath and his power against sin on vessels of wrath fitted for destruction, so what? Doesn't He have a right to do that? He's God. He's God.

And on the other hand, He will show the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy as well. God has to be seen in His wholeness and God is as much glorified in His wrath against ungodliness as He is in His grace towards those who believe. Now you can go back to Matthew Chapter 23. So God will send preachers and God will send teachers and God's going to send writers. Jesus says you're going to have them all. But it isn't that you may be saved. It is that you will kill them and you will scourge and you will persecute them and as a result of that, you will bring on yourselves the filling up of the cup of wrath and the blood of all the righteous. And then God will judge you with severity....

So ...[if people] reject Jesus Christ. And ...refuse His message ...He says, all right, fill it up. Fill it up. And just to be sure you do, I'm going to send more preachers and more teachers and more writers and you're going to fill it up by killing them and the ones you can't kill you're going to persecute. And then you're going to fill that cup up so much that upon you verse 35 says, "is going to come all the righteous blood shed on the earth." The whole thing is going to come apart. The dam is going to take only so much and it's going to break on you. The cup of wrath will be filled.

...God's purpose...God's judgment will pour itself out. It isn't that God wills that men be lost. God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. It is, however, that when men reject the Lord Jesus Christ and refuse to come to Him, it is when they do that, they bring upon themselves an outpouring of God's wrath. And listen carefully to me, the longer they have rejected and the more information they have that they have rejected and the more lessons given them from which they have not learned the greater the guilt. Do you understand that?...

And so it all breaks on their heads... I hope we can see it as clearly in our own nation, because we are in the very process right now of filling up the cup of God's wrath. And we've been doing it steadily and this generation alive today is more guilty of doing it than any in the past, because we have the accumulated testimony of God's truth in this culture and we also have the accumulated lessons of why we should not act against a holy God. And the more we accumulate that data, the more guilty we become and when it breaks, it'll break on the generation that finally fills the cup to the brim...

And one generation which duplicates the sins of past generations and rejects the lessons of past history and rejects the revelation of God that it has, brings upon itself a more profound judgment. So judgment is cumulative. And He says this to them, verse 35, this is a fascinating verse. "It's going to break on you all the righteous blood," that is all the blood shed when righteous people were killed. When they persecuted righteous people and took their life, which, of course, is the greatest indicator of the rejection of God's truth. I mean, when you kill the righteous, you've gone the limit, right? That's the worst you can do.

So all of the worst of your evil manifested in the killing of righteous people, shedding their blood, it's all going to come to fill the cup and break on you. "And you're going to be suffering the just punishment of all that blood from righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah's son of Barachiah whom you slew between the temple and the altar." From A to Z, from the beginning of the Old Testament, Genesis Chapter 4, the first murder of a righteous man, who killed who? Cain killed. Why did he kill Abel? Because he couldn't stand a righteous man, right? He couldn't stand him.

I said it earlier and I'll say it again, if a society has the latitude to kill righteous people, it'll do it, because it can't tolerate that. And Cain could not tolerate the purity of Abel, so he murdered him. And that was the first murder of a righteous man. And he sweeps them all the way through their history, because they were out of the loins of the Adamic family...

God said the cup is full, that's it. God's spirit does not always strive with man. And so the word of judgment was imminent condemnation and it came and it came fast. That's how God feels about sin. That's how God feels about the rejection of His truth and His Son.

God - Our Defender

God - Our Defender
C.H. Spurgeon

My defense is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.
Psalms 7:10

The Judge has heard the cause, has cleared the guiltless, and uttered His voice against the persecutors. Let us draw near, and learn the results of the great assize. Yonder is the slandered one with his harp in hand, hymning the justice of his Lord, and rejoicing aloud in his own deliverance.

My defense is of God, which saveth the upright in heart. Oh, how good to have a true and upright heart. Crooked sinners, with all their craftiness, are foiled by the upright in heart. [10-11]

God defends the right. Filth will not long abide on the pure white garments of the saints, but shall be brushed off by divine providence, to the vexation of the men by whose base hands it was thrown upon the godly. When God shall try our cause, our sun has risen, and the sun of the wicked is set for ever. Truth, like oil, is ever above, no power of our enemies can drown it; we shall refute their slanders in the day when the trumpet wakes the dead, and we shall shine in honour when lying lips are put to silence. O believer, fear not all that thy foes can do or say against thee, for the tree which God plants no winds can hurt.

Who kills babies?

I have been working on creating a concise gospel tract of mercy and truth that we can give to all of the mothers who come to murder their babies at the killing place. It would also need to work for their companions. What a challenge!

Thinking it might help I decided to list all of the types of women (& accomplices) we meet at the abortuary. Here is the list I came up with:

1. Professing Christians (These are ones that say: "All sin is the same", "God forgives". They are often the hardest to reach because they have no fear of the Lord & presume upon forgiveness. Poor teaching on degrees of sin/degrees of punishment & undue influence by the heresy of universalism. )
2. Non-professing Christians
3. Women & men who have already murdered one (or multiple) babies previously.
4. Women & men who are murdering their baby for the first time.
5. Mothers who are leaving the killing place after having murdered their infant.
6. Married
7. Single (sexually immoral)
8. Married, covering adultery
9. Accompanying a mothere who is murdering (parent, lover, sister, brother, husband, friend, co-worker, who may or may NOT have killed a baby themselves or helped someone else abort a baby)
10. Woman who is a victim of rape or incest
11. Physical problem with the baby (mild to serious, eg:Down's syndrome, Trisomy, heart problem, spina-bifida, etc)
12. Physical/Mental problem with mother (mild to serious, eg: hyperemesis, gravidarum, drug addict, heart problem, cancer, etc)
13. Young: 9-14 years old brought by adult (parent, guardian, rapist, child molester, school counselor, wicked family member)
14. Sex selection: Mother & father murdering child because the baby is not the gender they want

As you can see, it is no easy task to write a tract for every kind of aborting & post-abortive mother. We meet strippers who cannot dance with a belly, prostitutes who don't think clients will appreciate their 'condition', drug addicts, moms who have had fertility treatments & in vitro to conceive their other children but don't want 'more', lesbians who 'cheated' on their partner with a 'friend' & the list goes on. Many of the people we meet at the abortuary lie about why they are there. Their #1 objection to allowing their baby to live is often not the true (hidden) objection. Sheila said that she was killing her baby for 'Financial' reasons. It turned out that she had no financial problems AT ALL. Ronald told me: "The baby is already dead". It turned out that his son was very much alive. Denise said that she was 'raped', but after speaking with her she admitted that she didn't want her parents to find out that she had slept with a "n-----".

This is why we have to stick with the objective truth of the gospel when engaging the lost we meet at the murder mill. We speak the Law of God, "You shall not murder" "Shed not innocent blood", which brings the knowlege of sin & which is perfect & used by the Holy Spirit, addresses the conscience with eternal truth & has the power to convert the soul. We tell every aborting & post-abortive mother & her companions that God has prophesied that all murderers & their accomplices shall be punished by God & sent to hell. We use the Word of God, which is His primary means of opening deaf ears & giving sight to the blind & life to the dead in trespasses & sins. "Faith comes by hearing & hearing comes by the Word of the God."

We speak of the humanity of the baby, who is designed, created & sustained by God, who ruleth over all. We tell the aborting moms & dads & companions that the Bible teaches us that all souls belong to God & everyone of us answerable to Him. We warn them that Jesus said: "Unless you repent, you will perish." We plead with the women who are hell-bent on murdering their children to allow us to help them obey God's commandment. We plead with them to look unto Christ that both they and their children will live.

If they stop justifying their desire to murder their baby and they are humble and no longer give excuses, we wrap our arms around them and give the the grace of the gospel. The only way that God provided for guilty sinners to be forgiven is by repenting (confessing & forsaking sin) & trusting in the person & work of Jesus Christ. He is the Son of God made flesh & the Savior who was born of a virgin & lived a life of perfect obedience to the Father. Jesus suffered and died in a bloody spectacle on a criminal's Cross. There the Father laid the iniquity of all sinners who savingly repent and put their faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. The Savior was resurrected and sits at the right hand of the Father and He will come again. We tell the lost that their only hope is to repent of their sin & to trust in the Lord Jesus. Unless they do what He has commanded, there is no hope of forgiveness now or eternal life in heaven ... only a certain fearful expection of judgment. We warn the humbled the women who came to kill (half of whom are post-abortive mothers) & their companions: "Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden their hearts as in the day of rebellion." Repent and believe upon Jesus Christ, & be saved.
