Carney O'Donnell, six weeks old when this photo was taken, is held by his mother, Cindy.
His parents chose the name Carney because it means "victorious fighter" in a combination of Irish and Scottish.
"Our little victorious fighter," Kyle O'Donnell said. "He lived up to his name."
Overcoming great odds, this darling boy is an inspiration for us to keep fighting for our dear babies!
