Scott & I arrived early. Clinic worker Gladys pulled over to ask me a question: "Don't you ever get tired of coming here, Patte?" I answered her honestly. "Yes, I do." Gladys asked me why I keep doing it. With tears in my eyes I told her plainly: "I do this for Jesus Christ, Gladys. He was willing to die for me. I should be willing to live for Him."
A big truck with a disabled veteran license plate drove into the clinic. There was a giant decal of the American flag with an eagle flying across it attached to the entire back window of the truck. Dave introduced himself to the older man (a father) who had brought his precious daughter to have his grandchild destroyed. Dave challenged the veteran: "Sir, there was a time when you stood for integrity and for the protection of life. You tout the founding fathers vision for this country. Our Declaration of Independence declares: 'We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.' Dave plead with the veteran & professed patriot to take his daughter by the hand & love her through her pregnancy, begging the question: "Please sir, teach your daughter courage & honor. Don't give way to cowardice & compromise your principles & attack the defenseless one inside her womb. Is this what you fought for? To take innocent life or to protect it?" Sadly, the man continued to smoke his cigarette & casually led his grandbaby straight into an ambush.
Dave showed this article from World Magazine to the many black moms & dads who arrived to commit the black on black crime of abortion at Orlando Women's Center this morning. http://www.worldmag.com/articles/14218. Here is a quote:
If someone wiped out the entire African-American population in Oakland, Atlanta, and Washington, D.C., the number still wouldn't equal the number of black babies lost to abortion in one year: 683,294.
According to the Allan Guttmacher Institute, African-American women are nearly five times more likely than non-Hispanic white women to have an abortion. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, almost one in every two African-American pregnancies ends in abortion ... Black women account for 6 percent of the population, but 56 percent of abortions.
One aborting mom dismissed Paula's offer of help, insisting: "All sin is the same. Lying is a sin. Stealing is a sin. It's all the same in the eyes of God". Paula had merely introduced herself to this mother ... She hadn't even mentioned 'sin' yet! This tells us two things: 1) People are being taught that all sin is the same as another. 2) People already know that paying to have their baby pulled or delivered from their womb to kill the child is SIN. (As opposed to a 'choice' or 'decision' or even a 'mistake'.)
We know from scripture that everyone knows the difference between right & wrong. 'For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse ... ' Romans 1:20
For no man can plead that he has fulfilled all his obligations to God and to his neighbour; nor can any truly say that he has fully acted up to the light afforded him. The sinfulness of man is described as ungodliness against the laws of the first table, and unrighteousness against those of the second. The cause of that sinfulness is holding the truth in unrighteousness. All, more or less, do what they know to be wrong, and omit what they know to be right, so that the plea of ignorance cannot be allowed from any. Our Creator's invisible power and Godhead are so clearly shown in the works he has made, that even idolaters and wicked Gentiles are left without excuse.

If an aborting mom believes that murdering her baby is no different or worse than taking a paper clip home from work without permission, she is comforted in her sin & sees the murder of her child as a small thing. Jesus, however, taught that sin is so grievous that it would be better for her to kill her sin so that sin does not kill her. "So if your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life injured or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire.And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell fire." Matthew 18:8 & 9 This false teaching of 'all sin is the same to God' & an awful lack of biblical teaching regarding genuine repentance helps to explain why so many of the women & men who attend churches & who work at abortion clinics sense nothing amiss when their hands are covered with innocent blood of little babies.
Larry spoke with tender earnestness to the aborting women & men who stood in a very long line at the front door of the killing place: "In Ezekiel 18:4 God declares; 'Behold, all souls are Mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is Mine'. Your baby does not belong to you. Your baby belongs to God. You belong to God. Listen to the voice of the Lord when He commands 'You shall not murder'. Let us help you! Each of your children is precious & made in the image & likeness of God. You can choose a loving adoptive family for your baby."
Scott entreated those who were perishing. "We are here to help you to obey the Lord." Pointing to the Choice sign of a precious baby aborted at 10 weeks gestation (see http://abortionno.org/Store/choice_signs.html) Scott asked all the mommies & daddies waiting at the clinic door: "Is this right?" When a an aborting father said: "Hey, it's legal, man!" Scott responded; "Young man, it might be legal to kill your baby, but is it right? It was legal to buy & sell & even to breed blacks as slaves, but was it ever right? It was perfectly legal to murder Jews in Nazi, Germany, but did that make it right?" The crowd turned away Your conscience is given to you by God. Listen to the voice of truth: 'You shall not murder'. Speak to one of the ladies here. We are offering our support to you through this pregnancy. You can place your baby for adoption.'
A very pregnant woman pulled her car over & stood on the sidewalk with her hand raised in prayer. (You can see her in the photo attached in the blue dress.) Kathleen is due to have her baby on September 2nd. She explained to us that when she saw us ministering there she had to stop & stand with us. Kathleen told us her story. When she became pregnant her family (Catholic!) all pressured her to kill the child by abortion. She felt terribly alone & couldn't imagine raising her baby by herself. "If it wasn't for the support & help of the wonderful women at JMJ (http://www.jmjlifecenter.org/)& Center for Pregnancy (http://www.firstorlando.com/Ministries/PregnancyCenter/tabid/327/Default.aspx) my daughter would have been aborted." Kathleen took out many photos of her beautiful little girl, who is four years old now.
Dave & Paula both have I-Phones. Before we left to minister on Saturday morning Scott & I spent time in prayer & reading of the Word. As I read through the Gospel of John I pondered this incredible revelation:
In Him was LIFE; and the LIFE was the LIGHT of men.
John 1:4
Common grace tells us that it is wrong to murder an innocent person & that it is sin. The human conscience is informed by the moral Law of God, written on the hearts of aborting women by the finger of God Himself. This is called general revelation & natural law. Matthew Henry writes of our God-given understanding of what is right & what is wrong : 'The light of reason, as well as the life of sense, is derived from Him, and depends upon Him.'
We wish that all true believing pastors would begin to believe the Bible & preach the Law of God as if it has final authority. We honestly believe that far fewer women & men would be sexually immoral & murdering their children if the under-shepherds of Christ were more faithful in their call to preach the truth as it is in Jesus.
